Robert “Bob” J. Spatara, 71, passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021 at his residence. He was born on January 14, 1950 in Grove City, Pennsylvania. Bob was the eldest of 14 children.

Bob was a graduate of McDonald High School and was veteran of the United States Army, having served honorably in the Vietnam War. He had been employed as a painter for many years.
Bob was a good person who cared about others. His favorite hobby was going to garage sales and collecting “junk”. Throughout his years, other hobbies included fishing, bowling, riding his motorcycle, bike riding and going to Grateful Dead concerts. Bob was a true “Dead Head”. His favorite place to visit was the Outer Banks, North Carolina, where he would tent camp whenever he had the chance.
Bob leaves behind his daughter, Melanie Verdream; his grandson, Paul; his two great grandchildren; his brothers, Frank Spatara (Debbie) and Rick Spatara (Lori); his sisters, Carol Hyland (Tom), Kathi Strange (Ronnie) Georgie Donatelli (Ken), Beth Zell and Peggy Gollings.
His parents, Virginia and Dominic Spatara, Sr. preceded him in death as well as his brothers, Dominic Jr., Michael, Joseph, Raymond, Dwayne and Christopher.
