Carol S. Hewitt, of Warren, Ohio passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021 in Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland after a short illness. She was 71 years old. Carol was born on May 23, 1949, in Warren, Ohio the daughter of Francis and Helen Wright Adams.

Carol graduated from Warren G. Harding High School and attended Warren Business School for several semesters. She was employed by The Salvation Army in Warren, Ohio for 40+ years as the receptionist/caseworker until her retirement.

She enjoyed taking cruises, reading and “get-togethers” with family and friends.

Mrs. Hewitt is survived by her three stepchildren, Mark Hewitt of Santa Rosa, California, David Hewitt and his wife, Tamara of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Pamela Bax and her husband, Terry of Kitchener, Ontario and her six grandchildren, Rachel Bax, Forest Hewitt, Victoria Hewitt, Brendan Bax, Liam Bax and Benjamin Hewitt. She is also survived by her sister, Eileen Polis and her husband, John of Warren, Ohio and her brother, Matthew F. Adams, Sr. and his wife, Karren of Warren, Ohio.

Preceding Carol in death were her parents, Francis and Helen Adams; her husband, Arthur “Art” Hewitt; her brother, Mark J. Adams and her sister, Patricia A. Adams.

A memorial service will be held in Mrs. Hewitt’s honor at a later date.

ive know the adams family since i was ten.....all the fun we had....loved our holidayz together....and our cook out next to the railriad tracks behind your the family home...the laughter and stories being shared...i know when you entered heaven arthur...your mom and dad ...mark and patty was there to welcome you home

Aunt carol I can't pick just 1 memory cuz u have left me with so many amazing memories over my 44 yrs here. I know one of my favorite that I was always told bout was aunt patti watching me at 3 mon old on ur birthday n me just crying away n aunt patti lookin at the wall n wonder if I stick lol n you comin as me and patti both crying and u take me and I stop crying, to all the drives in the country u take us on 2 how on my wedding day u was there an whispered in my ear how much my dad was proud of me n there so many more. Till I take my last breath I'll always be ur crystalific.
