Condolence From: Amy Starkey/family and The Stanley Family
Condolence: Wagar's was a huge part of our lives as kids. We looked forward every year to our vacation there and cried every year when we left. I was proud to be a "Wagar girl" for two summers... as was my sister Lois Stanley Thomas. I am forever grateful to Mickey being our surrogate mother those summers. I have returned to the lake about 4 times and will maybe make it a yearly thing if possible. She was deeply loved by many people. I know your family will miss her intensely, but just know she is always by your side. Hold her tight within your heart and souls. Peace and Love to all of you
Condolence: Dear George and children - I am so very sad and sorry to hear of Mickey's passing. She was one of a kind and the world is a little dimmer without her. Sure remember her from the lake. Actually she taught me how to swim when I was a little tyke. We would practice off to the side of the "cement" dock. Many warm memories of her and the lake. May she rest in everlasting peace and memories of her comfort each of you.
Condolence: To the Kilpatrick family, Your mother & father were one of the first parents I met when I began teaching in 1968. Throughout the years they were two of the most genuine & nicest people I ever met. I saw them a couple of years ago in Ft. Myers Beach enjoying life as always. We laughed, talked, & had a few! My sincere condolences on your mother, what a great lady.
