Life Story for June D. Waldele

June D. Waldele
North Lima: Visitation will be at Old Springfield United Church of Christ in New Middletown on Monday, September 3, 2018 from 4-7 p.m. and Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., with funeral services to follow for June Waldele, 76 years young. A wonderful loving beautiful wife, proud momma and grandmother and great grandmother who passed away unexpectedly.
June was born May 19, 1942 in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of James D. and Ruby V. Armstrong. After graduating from Austintown Fitch High School, June owned and operated the Lawson Dairy Mart in Austintown, where she met the love of her life, Richard “Dick” W. Waldele. They moved to North Lima to raise their family and start Dicks Engine Service, which they owned and operated for more than 42 years together. June also played a huge rule in her children’s life from coaching boys baseball and girls softball, bowling with her son on Saturdays and running the PTO for many years. June was a 4H advisor for many years and spent many endless Saturdays and Sundays at horse shows with her daughter. She was a long time member of Old Springfield Church of Christ and she was a member of the women’s auxiliary for the Springfield volunteer fire department. June also volunteered many years at the voting boards. As years went by, she loved spending time with her most precious jewels, her grandchildren. She never lost her love for the good old Cleveland Brown games and her true passion for her Cleveland Indians. June brought a smile and love to everyone who knew her and always had a kind word to say to even a stranger. She maintained friendships from all seasons of her life. Along with her parents, James D. and Ruby V. Armstrong, she was preceded in death by her in-laws, Donald A. and Margaret J. Waldele and her loving husband, Richard W Waldele. June leaves to cherish her memory, her loving five children, Richard (Marsha) Waldele, James (Karen Sue) Waldele, Sharon McGehee, Donna (Dan) Burnette, Susan (Jay) Plants and a granddaughter that she raised as her daughter, Nikki (Jason) Granger. Her grandchildren, Jeffrey Waldele, Anna (Chadd) Anderson, Shawn McGehee, Jenalee (Mike) Hatch, Tiffany (Jim) Fegert, Tawna (Jesse) Jefferies, Jesse Burnette, Cody(Lacey) Miller-Plants, Tristan Plants, Mason Plants, Rachael(Evan) Holik, Ashley Stille, Brandy Stille, Stephanie Joy and also 17 great grandchildren.
The family requests that flowers may be sent to the Springfield United Church of Christ for the service and material tributes may be made in memory of June to the First Love Christian Academy, 150 Sunset Blvd, Washington, Pennsylvania 15301.
Arrangements for June were entrusted to Borowski Funeral Services.
